That’s just what a multi-location RV manufacturer decided to do when the call went out for an Aerosmith demo.
The goal was to cut production time for RV frame assembly. The test was to fasten a plastic panel covering an entire side of a frame.
The line foreman came up with the idea to race: the Aerosmith® system versus their current screw method. He started each system from opposite ends of the 70-foot frame. The Aerosmith installer completed more than half of the frame, PLUS more than half the screw side! The result prompted the screw worker to ask:
“When can I get that (Aerosmith)? I want to be that guy!”
All five plants were soon converted to Aerosmith!
